01 / Founder
Jackie S. Michaels
Founder of J Michaels Wellness™
Human Systems Strategist
I am Jackie S. Michaels, a Human Systems Strategist, founder of J Michaels Wellness™, and creator of The Seven Human Systems Framework™ and The JS Michaels Studio™.
I help women make choices that include themselves. Through the seven systems, I help you explore why your needs, preferences, and limits can give way to what you believe is expected of you, and how your own voice, judgment, capacity, and desires can become part of the decision.
You may lead a business, raise a family, serve your faith community, care for someone, or hold several of those roles. You can value those commitments deeply and still want time, energy, enjoyment, and freedom for yourself. You do not need an executive title to belong here.

02 / Lived Experience
I couldn't find what I was looking for so I created it.
I'm now sharing it with you . . . for free.

For decades, I knew how to show up for the people and responsibilities in my life. I worked, led, parented, supported others, and made myself dependable. I was less practiced at including myself.
Over time, I began to examine what influenced that pattern: what I believed a good woman should do, what being needed meant to me, and why stepping away could feel uncomfortable even when the day’s responsibilities were finished.
For years, I searched for a space that could help me understand what I was experiencing. I researched, read, and listened, gathering useful information along the way. But the answers were scattered across different places, and I could not find the kind of space I needed.
That search and my own experience helped shape The Seven Human Systems Framework™. I created The JS Michaels Studio™ to bring what I had learned into one place. Now I’m sharing the Studio for free, so other women have somewhere to begin.
Today, I know how to participate more fully and step away to live for me. My work helps other women explore that possibility in their own lives, with respect for the people and commitments they love and for themselves.
Participate fully in the roles that matter to you. Have a life of your own.
“I get a life too.”
For me, that includes enjoying experiences because I want to, without needing to turn them into an achievement or a contribution.
03 / The Purpose Behind My Work
Your life belongs in the decision.
My mission is to help women understand what shapes their choices so they can participate meaningfully in their work, relationships, and communities while making room for their own needs, interests, and enjoyment.
Your needs, preferences, and limits belong in the decisions that shape your life.
Strengthening the Woman Beyond the Title.
Your experience matters across the roles you hold. I want you to bring your voice and judgment to those roles while also having time to be a person with interests, relationships, and pleasures of your own.

04 / Experience and Perspective
Three decades of working with people.
30+ years
Human resources and people leadership
Executive
Organizational advising and strategy
Professor
University teaching and adult development
I bring more than 30 years of professional experience in human resources, organizational leadership, advising, university teaching, and people development to my Human Systems work.
My career has allowed me to observe people in moments of growth, transition, pressure, conflict, leadership, change, success, and uncertainty.
Those experiences shaped a central question:
What is happening within the person that the role, title, or behavior alone cannot explain?
That question continues to guide how I listen, teach, and work with people. My professional background adds perspective to conversations about the experiences beneath a role or title.
Professional experience includes executive human resources leadership, organizational advising, university instruction, and integrative health and personal development training.
05 / Ways to Work Together
Several ways to begin. Choose what fits your life or your group.
Through J Michaels Wellness™, I offer several ways to explore the Framework. You can begin with the free Assessment or Studio, follow my original content, join a group experience, or reach out for a conversation.
I welcome thoughtful questions, conversations, and opportunities to work with individuals, groups, and organizations.
You can book The Human Systems Insight Session™ for up to 90 minutes with me. During this private $297 session, you can review your Assessment report or discuss the seven Human Systems and how they may be shaping your life.
Use the free resources on your own, or talk with me when you want to explore a question in more depth. For groups and organizations, we can discuss a format that fits your context.
